WordHaven BookHouse is a safe place for words on Eighth Street in downtown Sheboygan. The shop is very comfortable and inviting for musicians and the audience. A variety of new and used books, as well as creative materials, are available for purchase. Self expression is encouraged through writing workshops and community events. The owner, Kelly D. Holstine, invites jazz musicians to jam on her intimate stage each month.
Venue Details
Opportunities to play are available once or twice a month. Twenty to thirty people can attend. The audience can sit nearby or enjoy shopping for books.
Musicians earn money via tips.
The performance area is visible from the street. There is additional space in front of a small stage. The stage has a grounded outlet and a working microphone.
